... and _not_ elsewhere (which some might translate to swinglabs.org <g> ). For SwingX that is

https://swingx.dev.java.net/

in time with the next release, those pages will be updated to no longer have links to basically un-maintained and unmaintainable external pages (just ignore them for now, they are disfunctional most of the time anyway).

Until then, here's how-to get stuff

access code:
- checkout from svn or
- grab a the results of recent weekly build (if available) from the documents& files section or
- grab a release from the documents & files section

documentation/tutorials
- goto the swingx wiki: it's neither complete nor entirely up-to-date, but at least maintainable (by our lovely community, that is _you_ - for starters, somebody might rip out the links to swinglabs.org <g>)
- read the javadoc
- google (and ignore search results which point to swinglabs.org)
- search this forum
- post to this forum

A note about continous integration: that's an tool that helps us - the committers - to deliver quality. Application developers can do their jobs just as well without accessing the build/results simply not as conveniently. So if that service is not available - it's hosted externally to java.net as it's not supported here - it has no effect on their work. Sure, those downs look bad and embarassing and uncool - but those inaccessiblities are not completely under our control. That's life ;-)

In other words: if anybody ever again complains about "server down" - please point her/himher to this post <g>

Silly question....but I don't see any files in the Documents and Files section. Am I looking in the wrong place?

All of the java.net portions seems a little neglected does it not ? If you expand the nodes on the downloads tree you can still find the files, or go directly to the url below for the weekly builds :

the build results get added automatically, no automatics for removal ;-) The latest is at the bottom of the page. The automatic build is broken since a while - which has not much of an effect on the code quality, tests are passing locally, take my work on it.

there's an item on the navigation menu at the left (as in all java.net.projects), maybe a bit to darkish to take seriously :-)
