There's no Ajax on this list - I'm assuming there isn't another area for it? I'm seeing quite a bit of interest in tools like DWR.

Thanks, your placing it here is good. I never intended any of the lists to be exhaustive. I should have been clearer on that.

A talk on unit testing ajax would be nice.

It would be great if you can discuss below.

AJAX patterns: we all know what ajax is but would be great to discuss how to effectively design using AJAX.

Portal patterns: again we all know portal specification and making hello world. Would be good to discuss if such a pattern exists using struts/jsf/generic method.

I'm pretty sure Ajax will be the big buzzword at JavaOne this year, and the creator of DWR, the main Java/Ajax framework, got his talk turned down for JavaOne. It is a real shame.
