Thanks for the link Dmitri, I have been reading chets posts quite frequently.
I was wondering abt what will happen to this nice project in future. Will it Not be supported in future or maybe some one within SUN will own it and take it forward or will scenegraph replace the current timing framework completely. Maybe urself or someone else within SUN are the best people to answer this question.

and .... just to add to my previous question what abt the animated transitions framework also developed by Chet , I just hope someone at the SUN team is listening and keep this project alive since the concept is really very good.

Although the scenegraph library has a pure Java API, it is the engine driving the JavaFX Script UI library, and thus, an essential part of the JavaFX platform. It therefore has Sun's full support, and will only get better as it matures.

Scenegraph looks promising but currently it is very low level and needs lots of boilerplate code to create simple transitions

Since this project no longer seems to be supported ,why dont they remove it from the list of projects on java.net after the consent of the owner(Chet).

Doesn't have to be this dramatic. The project has reached a stable release, after all. One might consider removing this forum itself, now that the project will not be (most probably) under active development.
