Easier Way To Get Up And Running?

Is there any easier way to get the cqME up and running?
I'm using Eclipse and after installing jtharness... I have to install who knows how many other addons plus create configuration files etc...
I wanted to use cqME to demonstrate unit testing to my company but I'll have to fall back on JMUnit to do my demo now.
I feel there are just too many things to create and make sure that works before I can get up and running...
The instructions are a little too verbose and I have to sift through the document looking for the right place to start...
I like the idea of testing on the actual device, and retrieving the results via an agent.. but the product seems to be in need of making it simpler to deploy. I spent like that last 3 days trying to get it to work...

thank you for the feedback and the question!
Make sure to take a look at the sample test suite located in samples/meframework/SampleTestSuite/
in the subversion repository.
There is a small readme file explaining how to build the sample:

For version 1.2 of ME Framework we are working on a more comprehensive set of samples
(https://cqme.dev.java.net/source/browse/cqme/branches/code/me-framework-oss-1_2-dev/samples/).
The official release of version 1.2 is scheduled to happen in July so there may still be some undiscovered issues with these new samples at present.
We are also overhauling the developer guide and will publish it soon after the 1.2 release.
It will have more streamlined, easier-to-follow instructions.
We will definitely take your suggestions into account for the following release (1.3) which is in the planning stage now.
